The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports and advances formulary access, protocol/order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed sales targets by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
- Manage hospital relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders; provide scientific/clinical information.
- Deliver approved product presentations to physicians, APPs, and other personnel using a customer engagement selling model.
- Secure formulary and market access to drive prescribing/utilization; support IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Identify and address barriers to product adoption; plan/optimize call coverage and metrics.
- Conduct compliant educational programs (in-services, speaker programs) and analyze utilization trends to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; provide marketing/sales feedback; manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS; valid driverβs license.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/medical/biotech industry; 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50%; ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs.

- Top-tier sales performance and product launch success; hospital demand generation.
- Anti-infective experience; account selling; health systems/P&T/formulary knowledge.
- Experience engaging specialist physicians/hospitalists/pharmacists; data-driven planning; compliance.

Compensation & Benefits (US): Base salary $165,000β$275,000; annual bonus; eligibility for long-term incentive; health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, caregiver/parental and medical leave.
