The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports and advances formulary access, protocol and order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and execute an integrated territory business plan to meet/exceed sales performance objectives.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver compliant sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and other clinic personnel.
- Secure and translate formulary and market access wins into consistent prescribing and utilization.
- Engage pharmacy, medical, and operational stakeholders in discussions supporting patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Facilitate collaboration with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
- Identify and address barriers impacting product adoption (clinical, operational, behavioral, process-related).
- Optimize call coverage and frequency to achieve call metrics.
- Deliver clinical brand presentations and conduct educational programs/in-services/speaker programs.
- Understand account healthcare delivery systems (physician hierarchy, pharmacy personnel, clinical nursing staff).
- Analyze utilization trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities and drive performance.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy and effectiveness; develop territory plans with the Regional Sales Director and brand team.
- Manage territory budget and complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance with corporate/industry policies.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/medical/biotech industry.
- 3+ years calling on hospitals and health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50% (including overnight).
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Top-tier sales performance; product launch success.
- Demand generation success in hospitals.
- Anti-infective experience.
- Expertise in account selling and managing complex sales processes.
- Deep knowledge of health systems model and decision-making (P&T, formulary, etc.).
- Experience engaging specialist physicians/hospitalists/pharmacists and pharmacy leadership.
- Experience collaborating across hospital and community care settings.
- Strong presentation and selling skills; business acumen.
- Demonstrated compliance with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
