The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports and advances formulary access, protocol and order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts. Engages Infectious Disease physicians and hospital stakeholders to drive sales.

Responsibilities:
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific and clinical information within the disease state area and approved product.
- Deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and appropriate clinic personnel.
- Utilize and manage resources to optimize customer engagement.
- Collaborate across a matrixed organization to drive aligned execution and business success.
- Develop and execute an integrated territory business plan to meet/exceed sales objectives.
- Secure formulary wins and market access for consistent prescribing/utilization.
- Engage pharmacy, medical, and operational stakeholders on patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Collaborate with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
- Identify and address barriers impacting product adoption.
- Plan activities to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency.
- Deliver clinical brand presentations and conduct compliant educational/speaker programs.
- Analyze utilization and market dynamics to identify opportunities.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans; manage territory budget.
- Complete administrative tasks, participate in training, and maintain compliance with policies.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/medical/biotech; 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50% (overnight possible); ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.

Preferred:
- Top-tier sales performance and product launch success; demand generation in hospitals.
- Anti-infective experience.
- Expertise in account selling; knowledge of health systems model and stakeholder decision processes.
- Experience with specialist physicians/hospitalists/pharmacists and collaborating across care settings.
