The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports and advances formulary access, protocol and order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts. Engages infectious disease physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, case management, discharge planners, and IDN decision makers (as needed) to drive sales.

Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed sales objectives via an integrated territory business plan.
- Manage hospital relationships; engage clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver compliant product presentations.
- Secure formulary wins and translate market access into consistent prescribing/utilization.
- Lead clinical discussions supporting patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Facilitate collaboration with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
- Identify and remove barriers to adoption; run educational/in-services/speaker programs.
- Optimize call metrics, coverage, and frequency; analyze trends to drive performance.
- Manage territory budget and complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS; valid driver’s license.
- 5+ years pharma/medical/biotech; 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50%; ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs.

Preferred:
- Top-tier sales performance/product launch success; hospital demand generation.
- Anti-infective experience; strong account selling and health system stakeholder knowledge.

Comp/Benefits (US): $165,000–$275,000 base + annual bonus + eligible long-term incentive; health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, caregiver/parental and medical leave.
