Hospital Senior Account Manager, Anti-Infectives - New York, NY

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and advance formulary access, protocol/order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.
- Develop and execute an integrated territory business plan; meet/exceed sales targets.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical/non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and other personnel using a customer engagement selling model.
- Secure formulary and market access wins and translate them into consistent prescribing/utilization.
- Engage pharmacy/medical/operational stakeholders in discussions supporting patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Identify barriers to product adoption; plan activities to achieve call metrics.
- Conduct educational programs/in-services/speaker programs and provide clinical brand presentations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with peers; provide marketing/territory feedback.
- Manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution; valid driverβs license.
- 5+ years in pharma/medical/biotech; 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
- Hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, antimicrobial stewardship experience.
- Travel up to 50% (overnight); lift/move up to 35 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven top-tier sales and product launch success; hospital demand generation success.
- Anti-infective experience; account selling/manage complex sales.
- Health system model and P&T/formulary decision knowledge; experience with hospitalists/specialist physicians/pharmacy leadership.
- Data analysis for business plans; adaptability; regulatory/compliance adherence.
Compensation/Benefits (US): Annual base salary $165,000β$275,000; annual bonus; share-based long-term incentive eligibility; health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
