The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports and advances formulary access, protocol and order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed sales performance objectives by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, and other clinic personnel.
- Optimize customer engagement by effectively utilizing available resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers) to drive aligned execution.
- Support formulary wins/market access to ensure consistent prescribing and utilization.
- Engage pharmacy, medical, and operational stakeholders in discussions supporting identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Identify and address barriers to product adoption (clinical, operational, behavioral, process-related).
- Plan activities to achieve call metrics and maximize coverage/frequency.
- Understand account healthcare delivery systems and key stakeholder roles.
- Conduct educational programs and compliant scientific discussions.
- Provide feedback on marketing effectiveness and develop territory plans.
- Manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/medical/biotech industry experience.
- 3+ years calling on hospitals and health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50%; ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Top-tier sales performance and product launch success; demand generation in hospitals.
- Anti-Infective experience.
- Expertise in account selling; deep Health Systems model knowledge.
- Experience engaging specialists/hospitalists/pharmacy leadership; cross-setting collaboration.
- Strong presentation/selling skills; data analysis for actionable plans; regulatory/compliance adherence.
