The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports formulary access, protocol/order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts. Engages Infectious Disease physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, case management/discharge planners, and key IDN decision makers to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve/exceed sales targets by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and clinic personnel.
- Secure/translate formulary wins and market access into consistent prescribing and utilization.
- Engage pharmacy/medical/operational stakeholders on clinical discussions (patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, readmission reduction).
- Facilitate collaboration with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
- Identify and address barriers impacting product adoption; optimize call coverage and frequency to key customers.
- Deliver clinical brand presentations and conduct in-services/speaker programs/compliant scientific discussions.
- Understand account healthcare delivery systems; analyze utilization trends and market dynamics to drive performance.
- Provide marketing/sales feedback and develop territory plans; manage territory budget and complete administrative tasks.
- Maintain compliance with corporate/industry policies.

Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS; valid driver’s license.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/medical/biotech; 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50%; lift/move up to 35 lbs.

- Top-tier sales performance; product launch success; demand generation in hospitals.
- Anti-infective experience; account selling expertise.
- Deep Health Systems knowledge; experience engaging specialists/hospitalists/pharmacy leadership.
- Ability to work independently and analyze data; flexibility/adaptability; strong compliance and presentation skills.
