The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports and advances formulary access, protocol and order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed sales performance objectives by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and other personnel.
- Collaborate across GSK’s matrixed organization with Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets; secure and translate formulary wins and market access into consistent prescribing/utilization.
- Engage pharmacy, medical, and operational stakeholders to support patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Identify/address barriers impacting product adoption; optimize call coverage and frequency.
- Conduct educational programs (in-services, speaker programs) and compliant scientific discussions.
- Provide feedback to improve marketing strategy and develop territory plans; manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks.

Why You?
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited institution
- Valid driver’s license
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/medical/biotech industry
- 3+ years calling on hospitals and health systems
- Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship
- Travel up to 50% (overnight as needed)
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications
- Top-tier sales performance; proven product launch success
- Demand generation success in hospitals
- Anti-infective experience
- Expertise in account selling/complex sales
- Deep health systems model knowledge; experience with P&T/formulary processes
- Experience engaging specialist physicians/hospitalists/pharmacists and collaborating across care settings
