Hospital Senior Account Manager, Anti-Infectives - Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities:
- Support and advance formulary access, protocol/order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.
- Meet/exceed sales performance objectives by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan for key customer targets.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and other clinic personnel.
- Collaborate across a matrixed sales organization with Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive prescribing/utilization through formulary wins, market access achievements, and inclusion in protocols and discharge orders.
- Engage pharmacy, medical, and operational stakeholders to support patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Identify and address clinical/operational/process barriers impacting product adoption; optimize call coverage and frequency.
- Conduct educational programs, in-services, speaker programs, and compliant scientific discussions.
- Analyze utilization trends and customer insights to identify opportunities; provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance.
- Manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance with corporate/industry policies.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driverβs license.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/medical/biotech industry experience.
- 3+ years calling on hospitals and health systems.
- Hospital decision-making processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship program experience.
- Travel up to 50% (overnight); ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Top-tier sales performance; product launch success; demand generation in hospitals.
- Anti-Infective experience.
- Account selling/managing complex sales processes.
- Health Systems business model and decision-maker knowledge (e.g., P&T/formulary).
- Experience engaging specialist physicians/hospitalists/pharmacists; collaborating across hospital/community care settings.
- Data analysis for business plans; adaptability; strong compliance; exceptional presentation and selling skills.
Benefits/Compensation:
- US base salary range: $165,000β$275,000; annual bonus; eligibility for long-term incentive; health care/insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, caregiver/parental and medical leave.
