The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports and advances formulary access, protocol and order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts. Engages Infectious Disease physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, case management teams, discharge planners, and IDN decision makers (CMO, Pharmacy Directors, P&T Committee members) to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan.
- Secure and translate hospital formulary wins/market access into consistent prescribing and utilization.
- Engage pharmacy, medical, and operational stakeholders in clinical discussions (patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, readmission reduction).
- Facilitate collaboration with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
- Identify and address clinical/operational/process barriers impacting product adoption.
- Optimize call metrics, coverage, and frequency to maximize access and sales.
- Deliver clinical brand presentations and conduct educational programs/in-services/speaker programs.
- Understand account delivery systems and key stakeholder roles; stay informed on local/regional trends.
- Analyze utilization trends and insights to identify opportunities and drive performance.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; develop territory plans with the Regional Sales Director/brand team.
- Manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance with all policies.

Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 5+ years pharma/medical/biotech industry experience.
- 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50% (including overnight).
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.

- Top-tier sales performance and product launch success.
- Demand generation success in hospitals.
- Anti-Infective experience.
- Expertise in account selling/complex sales processes.
- Deep Health Systems business model knowledge (P&T, formulary, etc.).
- Experience engaging specialist physicians/hospitalists/pharmacy leadership.
- Cross-setting collaboration (hospital and community).
- Strong business acumen and presentation/selling skills; analyze data and trends.
- Flexibility; adherence to regulatory/legal/compliance standards.
