The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports formulary access, protocol/order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts. Engages Infectious Disease physicians and other hospital stakeholders (hospitalists, pharmacists, case management, discharge planners, and IDN decision makers as needed) to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an integrated territory business plan to achieve/exceed sales targets.
- Secure and translate hospital formulary/market access into consistent prescribing and utilization.
- Deliver scientific/clinical information and approved-product sales presentations to healthcare professionals.
- Engage pharmacy, medical, and operational stakeholders on patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Collaborate with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners to support access and therapy continuity.
- Identify and address barriers impacting product adoption; plan activities to meet call metrics.
- Provide clinical brand presentations and conduct compliant educational programs (in-services, speaker programs).
- Analyze utilization trends and customer insights to identify opportunities; provide feedback to support territory planning.
- Manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance with corporate and industry policies.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/medical/biotech; 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50%; lift/move up to 35 pounds.

- Top-tier sales performance; product launch success; demand generation in hospitals; anti-infective experience.
- Account selling expertise; deep health system model/stakeholder knowledge.
- Experience engaging specialists/hospitalists/pharmacy leadership; cross-setting collaboration; strong data analysis, presentation, and business acumen.
