Hospital Senior Account Manager, Anti-Infectives - Cleveland / Toledo, OH

Role supports and advances formulary access, protocol/order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed sales performance objectives by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information within disease state area and approved product.
- Deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, and other clinic personnel using a customer engagement selling model.
- Collaborate across a matrix organization (e.g., provider account directors, reimbursement managers, cross-functional stakeholders) to drive aligned execution.
- Secure and translate formulary wins and market access into consistent prescribing/utilization.
- Engage pharmacy/medical/operational stakeholders in discussions supporting patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Facilitate collaboration with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
- Identify and address barriers to product adoption; plan activities to optimize call metrics.
- Conduct educational programs and compliant scientific discussions.
- Analyze utilization trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities.
- Manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS; valid driverβs license.
- 5+ years pharma/medical/biotech experience.
- 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
- Hospital decision-making processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship program experience.
- Travel up to 50%; lift/move up to 35 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Top-tier sales performance and product launch success.
- Demand generation in hospitals; Anti-Infective experience.
- Expertise in account selling/complex sales; health systems business model knowledge.
- Experience engaging specialist physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, and pharmacy leadership.
- Analyze data to create business plans; flexibility; strong presentation/selling skills.
