Hospital Senior Account Manager, Anti-Infectives - Boston, MA / RI

The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports and advances formulary access, protocol and order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Secure and translate hospital formulary wins and market access into consistent prescribing and utilization.
- Engage pharmacy, medical, and operational stakeholders to support patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Facilitate collaboration with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
- Identify and address clinical/operational/process barriers to product adoption.
- Plan coverage to meet call metrics and optimize access and sales opportunities.
- Conduct educational programs, in-services, speaker programs, and compliant scientific discussions.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driverβs license.
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/medical/biotech.
- 3+ years calling on hospitals and health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50%.
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Top-tier sales performance and product launch success.
- Demand generation success in hospitals.
- Anti-infective experience.
- Expertise in account selling and complex sales processes.
- Knowledge of health system business model and decision processes (P&T, formulary, etc.).
- Experience engaging specialist physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, and pharmacy leadership.
Compensation/Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $165,000β$275,000; annual bonus; eligible for share-based long-term incentive; health insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental/medical leave.
