Hospital Senior Account Manager, Anti-Infectives - Boston, MA / NH / ME

The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports formulary access, protocol/order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an integrated territory business plan to achieve/exceed sales targets.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs/priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and appropriate clinic personnel.
- Secure and translate formulary wins/market access into consistent prescribing and utilization.
- Engage pharmacy/medical/operational stakeholders in discussions supporting patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and reduced readmissions.
- Collaborate with nurse navigators, discharge planners, case managers, and specialty pharmacy partners to support access and therapy continuity.
- Identify/address barriers impacting adoption; plan/organize activities to optimize call metrics.
- Deliver clinical brand presentations; conduct educational/in-service/speaker programs and compliant scientific discussions.
- Analyze utilization trends and local dynamics to identify opportunities; provide marketing/activity feedback; manage territory budget.
- Maintain compliance with corporate/industry policies; complete administrative tasks.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS; valid driverβs license.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/medical/biotech; 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems.
- Experience with hospital decision processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Travel up to 50%; ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Top-tier sales performance and product launch success; demand generation in hospitals.
- Anti-infective experience; expertise in complex account selling.
- Deep health system model/P&T/formulary knowledge; experience engaging pharmacy leadership/specialists.

Benefits/Compensation (US): Base salary $165,000β$275,000 + annual bonus; benefits include health insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
