Role: The Hospital Senior Account Manager supports and advances formulary access, protocol and order set readiness, discharge pathway support, and demand generation across targeted hospital accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed sales performance objectives by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
- Manage hospital relationships by engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver sales presentations to physicians, APPs, and other healthcare personnel.
- Optimize customer engagement using available resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., provider account directors, reimbursement managers) to drive aligned execution.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets; prioritize high-value customers and opportunities.
- Secure/translate formulary wins and market access into consistent prescribing and utilization.
- Engage pharmacy, medical, and operational stakeholders on patient identification, treatment selection, IV-to-oral transition, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.
- Identify and address barriers impacting product adoption; plan to meet call metrics and coverage.
- Conduct compliant educational programs and brand presentations.
- Analyze utilization trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance; develop territory plans with leadership.
- Manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution
- Valid driver’s license
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/medical/biotech
- 3+ years calling on hospitals/health systems
- Hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, antimicrobial stewardship
- Travel up to 50% (overnight)
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:
- Top-tier sales performance and product launch success
- Demand generation experience in hospitals
- Anti-Infective experience
- Account selling/complex sales process expertise
- Knowledge of health systems model (P&T, formulary, decision-making)
- Experience engaging specialist physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, pharmacy leadership
- Ability to work independently and in a team; analyze data for business plans; adaptability; compliance track record; exceptional presentation/selling skills
