Regional Sales Manager (RSM) โ West Region (Hospital Sales; Psychiatry)
Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, coach, and retain top talent for the Teva Psychiatry Hospital sales team
- Develop expertise and coach others on regional business focus areas (settings of care, payer and pull-through opportunities, and execution of the marketing strategy)
- Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed regional sales goals
- Coach/train others in different settings of care to identify key business opportunities
- Coordinate sales efforts with sales leadership, other Teva sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training
- Adhere to compliance guidelines, operate with integrity, and ensure the team follows policy
- Review weekly/monthly data reports to identify trends and address concerns
- Coach teams on execution of the defined call plan for each hospital account manager
- Provide counseling, encouragement, and oversight to ensure effective execution of brand strategy from hire date onward
- Spend 90+ days in the field supporting local sales representatives
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Plan and complete business activities using aligned objectives and analytics
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required
- Minimum 3+ years of pharmaceutical first-line sales management or related people management (internal candidates: demonstrated leadership to manage teams)
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and building/coaching/developing sales teams
Preferred:
- Experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas; long-acting injectables for schizophrenia
- Experience launching psychiatric products across multiple settings of care and hospitals
- Injectable and in-hospital administration experience in an acute care hospital
- Experience in rare disease; Specialty Pharmacies, Buy and Bill, HUB services
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technology
- Understanding of reimbursement and pull-through strategies; experience across Hospitals, CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record
- Complete customer-facing credentialing requirements within 60 days (may include additional vaccinations/medical testing)
Travel:
- Extensive travel throughout assigned region (including air, weekend/overnight)
Benefits:
- Annual starting salary: $151,000โ190,000
