Institutional Hospital Sales Representative (Des Moines, IA)

Responsibilities:
- Develop business plans to meet/exceed territory sales goals; sell across settings of care and identify opportunities.
- Coordinate with sales leadership and Teva teams (market access, sales operations, training).
- Review weekly/monthly data to identify trends and address concerns.
- Build relationships with HCPs and hospital staff; provide appropriate education and actions.
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-services.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Partner with specialty pharmacies to support availability and education.
- Track hospital formulary/P&T committee developments.
- Work with discharge coordinators to understand patient follow-up and transitions of care.
- Maintain sales call average (face-to-face interactions) targeting key customers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience (preferred: long-acting injectable schizophrenia space).
- Hospital experience with buy-and-bill, formulary placement, P&T committees, and in-services required.
- Psychiatric therapeutic area experience strongly preferred; LAI schizophrenia hospital experience preferred.
- Experience launching psychiatric products across settings of care.
- Injectable/in-office administration experience in a mental health facility.

Skills/Knowledge:
- Live/virtual customer interaction; technology proficiency.
- Knowledge of reimbursement/pull-through strategies across Hospitals, VAโ€™s, CMHC, specialty pharmacy, and private practice.
- Buy-and-bill model understanding.
- Leadership; collaborate across teams.
- Proven written and verbal communication.
- Valid US driverโ€™s license and acceptable driving record.

Travel: Extensive travel in assigned region; may include weekend/overnight.

Compensation: $88,000โ€“$160,000 starting salary; eligible for sales incentive plan. Onboarding period: non-exempt (overtime eligible); later reclassified as exempt.
