Institutional Hospital Sales Representative (Birmingham, AL)

Responsibilities:
- Develop business plans to meet/exceed territory sales goals; sell in different settings of care and identify opportunities.
- Coordinate with sales leadership, other Teva sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training.
- Adhere to compliance guidelines and operate with integrity.
- Review weekly/monthly data to identify trends and address concerns; build rapport with HCPs and hospital staff.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff; provide product/patient education.
- Work with specialty pharmacy facilities to ensure product availability and provide education.
- Monitor hospital formulary developments with the P&T committee.
- Work with discharge coordinators to support patient follow-up and transitions of care.
- Maintain call average (face-to-face interactions) focusing on top target customers.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience required; preferably long-acting injectable schizophrenia space.
- Hospital experience with buy-and-bill, formulary placement, P&T committees, and in-services.
- Psychiatric therapeutic area experience strongly preferred.
- Long-acting injectable schizophrenia hospital experience preferred.
- Experience launching psychiatric-space products across settings of care.
- Injectable and in-office administration experience in a mental health facility.
- Ability to operate in complex networks and provide customer insights.

Skills/Knowledge:
- Live/virtual customer interaction; technology proficiency.
- Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull-through strategies across settings (Hospitals, VA’s, CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice).
- Understanding of buy-and-bill model.
- Leadership and collaboration; proven written/verbal communication.
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Travel: Extensive travel throughout assigned region.

Salary/Incentive (if applicable): $88,000–$160,000 base; eligible for sales incentive plan.
