Territory/Role:
- Field-based sales role covering the Phoenix Mirror territory (Las Vegas, NV; Tucson, AZ; Albuquerque, NM; Santa Fe, NM; El Paso, TX). Ideal to reside in-territory. Travel varies; travel requirement listed as 75%.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate meaningful product information; customize discussions based on customer needs.
- Conduct informed discussions with HCP customers; seek/provide additional information as needed.
- For select accounts, serve as primary point of contact; meet key personnel to understand practice structure, influencers/network, needs, and identify opportunities.
- Coordinate with customer team to develop customer strategy and offerings; share learnings/best practices across customers.
- Focus on better health outcomes (HCP & patient experience).
- Provide input on resource allocation; identify/select relevant programs/services.
- Maintain knowledge of practice structure/business model/influencers and share with stakeholders.
- Embrace new technologies and multi-channel capabilities; comply with laws/policies and act with ethics/integrity.

HIV/Virology Specific:
- Execute across the sales process; position HIV products vs competition.
- Stay ahead of market trends; use insights for proactive recommendations.
- Ask strategic questions; segment/target accounts; manage Virology portfolio prioritizing opportunities and plan execution.
- Understand payer complexities and stakeholder roles.
- Develop and execute account plans; collaborate with extended Virology team.
- Build relationships in “no sample” environments; apply business-owner mindset in changing environments.

Position Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree + 2 years sales experience OR high school diploma + 6 years equivalent experience (professional sales, marketing, military, or non-sales pharma/biotech/medical device/healthcare/scientific).
- Valid driver’s license; willing to travel within territory and for national meetings.
- Preferred: 2+ years account management/sales with Infectious Disease customers (preference HIV/launch); specialty sales/launch experience; pharma/biotech/medical device sales; regulated-industry experience; complex hospital and payer environment experience; account inter-dependencies/payer stakeholder knowledge (incl. pharmacy); trusted representative; thought-leader/adoption continuum experience; “no sampling” relationships; business acumen; key opinion leader relationships.
