Location: Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ (hybrid; 3 days/week on-site)
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) for AYVAKIT in Systemic Mastocytosis and assigned emerging pipeline assets within the Global Rare HEVA team.
- Develop and execute asset-level HEOR strategies: translate Target Value Propositions and access strategies into evidence hypotheses, requirements, and generation plans for payer/provider/health system unmet needs.
- Design and execute HEOR research (economic modeling, database analysis, observational research, COA development/validation, systematic literature review, evidence synthesis, value dossier development) and operationalize evidence generation priorities (e.g., Integrated Evidence Generation Plan).
- Collaborate with multi-functional brand/development teams on clinical research programs; provide trial design recommendations; serve as SME for commercial/medical/market access/strategy teams; align global and US evidence strategy.
- Build payer/decision-maker relationships; engage with HTA bodies, reimbursement authorities, KOLs, and external partners.
- Publish/present; communicate findings to stakeholders; maintain SOPs and regulations; mentor junior colleagues.
About You (Qualifications):
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MS, MPH, or PharmD) in a scientific discipline.
- 5 years’ experience in health economics, outcomes research, or related.
- Global product launch experience; payer evidence requirements/value demonstration knowledge.
Skills/Technical:
- Evidence-based medicine, clinical research methods, economic modeling, COAs.
- Translating access strategies into evidence plans.
- Knowledge of global HTA processes/guidelines (HTA submissions preferred).
- Understanding of disease/epidemiology/biostatistics and HEOR digital tools.
