The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) builds and manages strategic relationships with U.S. external experts to generate timely, actionable insights that inform brand strategy. Hepatology TLLs support hepatology drug launches by developing expertise in quantitative HBsAg testing to identify target patients and accelerate adoption of a functional cure paradigm in Hepatitis B.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic, value-driven relationships with assigned External Experts.
- Plan and execute compliant live/virtual External Expert engagements aligned to brand priorities.
- Segment and manage a thought leader network to optimize engagement and insight generation.
- Compliantly elicit, document, and synthesize clinical, competitive, and strategic insights; share insights with marketing senior leadership.
- Seek compliant feedback on initiatives and materials.
- Plan and execute consulting engagements/advisory boards; coordinate expert executive interactions with commercial leadership.
- Enable peer-to-peer education; lead sponsorship at Tier 1 congresses and host product theater speakers/EE guests.
- Partner cross-functionally (medical, legal, compliance, regulatory, marketing); manage priorities and vendor/agency execution; manage strategic engagement risks.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree; 10+ years in field sales, product marketing, or medical/clinical roles in pharma/biotech.
- Specialty Hepatology/GI experience in one of the above functions.
- Experience presenting to executive audiences; experience leveraging insights to guide strategy.
- Valid driverโs license; travel 60โ80% (nights/weekends).
Preferred Qualifications
- Masterโs degree; strong account management, cross-functional leadership; marketing/sales management; advanced project management; proven regulatory/compliance adherence.

Compensation/Benefits
- US base salary range: $138,750โ$231,250; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive; health care/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
