HEOR Ops & Analytics Associate Director

Role: Associate Director within Vertex's HEOR Analytics CoE, focusing on real-world evidence (RWE) research to inform product development and market strategies across multiple therapeutic areas. Responsibilities include leveraging Vertex’s RWE data assets to conduct observational and health economic studies, assessing disease burden, healthcare resource use, and treatment patterns; designing study protocols, analysis plans, and generating actionable insights. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, supporting evidence generation, and contributing to internal analytic tools. Requirements: Advanced degree in health economics, epidemiology, or related field; at least 8 years of experience in health outcomes research, with expertise in observational study methods, claims data analysis, and healthcare coding systems. Proficiency in SAS and Excel, strong communication skills, and experience analyzing large healthcare datasets (claims, EHR) are essential. Preferred: experience supporting global product value strategies and interpretation of clinical trial data. The position is flexible regarding work setup (remote, hybrid, or onsite) and may involve working across diverse therapeutic areas, including rare or serious diseases, utilizing real-world data sources for evidence generation.
