Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain proficiency in relevant disease states, patient/clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
- Drive company revenue by achieving all sales/marketing objectives and goals.
- Serve as the primary commercial interface with key accounts, accountable for overall customer experience.
- Develop and maintain deep understanding/relationships with key accounts and stakeholders (physicians, nurses, office staff, management, etc.).
- Establish and execute business plans for key accounts aligned to franchise strategy and resources; lead strategy discussions with leadership.
- Assess treatment patterns and referral networks affiliated with key accounts.
- Collaborate compliantly with patient services, reimbursement support/field access, medical affairs, and operations to achieve account objectives.
- Share knowledge and support colleagues; proactively communicate with Hematology Sales Director.
- Utilize approved resources to achieve territory/account objectives.
- Share field insights with home-office team; participate in internal workshops/insight readouts.
- Maintain professional integrity within established guidelines/policies.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree.
- 4+ years of biotech/pharma sales and account management experience.
- Hematology/Oncology and/or rare disease experience preferred (specialty sales in other disease states considered).
Skills/Abilities
- Proven sales success; ability to create/execute customer/account plans.
- Strong relationship-building, learning agility, communication, collaboration (high emotional intelligence), and integrity.
- Must live in territory; travel up to 75% (including overnights).
- Must comply with credentialing requirements for customer interactions.
