Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain proficiency in relevant disease states, patient/clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
- Drive company revenue by achieving sales/marketing objectives and goals.
- Serve as primary commercial interface with key accounts; accountable for overall customer experience.
- Develop and maintain deep understanding of key accounts and relationships with all relevant stakeholders (e.g., physicians, nurses, office staff, management).
- Establish and execute business plans for key accounts aligned to franchise strategy/resources; communicate plans and lead strategy discussions with leadership.
- Assess treatment patterns and referral networks affiliated with key accounts.
- Collaborate compliantly with stakeholders (patient services, field access/reimbursement support, medical affairs, operations) to achieve account objectives.
- Share knowledge with team; utilize approved resources to achieve territory/account objectives.
- Proactively communicate with Hematology Sales Director and share field insights back to home-office team.
Experience
- BA/BS degree.
- 4+ years biotech/pharma sales and account management.
- Hematology/Oncology and/or rare disease experience preferred; other specialty sales considered.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Proven sales success; expertise creating/executing customer/account plans.
- Strong relationship-building, learning agility, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Collaboration with key stakeholders (high emotional intelligence).
- Strong communication; demonstrated integrity and respect for pharma regulations.
- Must live in territory; travel up to 75% (including overnights) and comply with credentialing requirements.
