Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain proficiency in relevant disease states, patient/clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
- Drive company revenue by achieving sales/marketing objectives and goals.
- Serve as the primary commercial interface with key accounts; accountable for overall customer experience.
- Develop and maintain deep understanding of key accounts and relationships with all relevant stakeholders (e.g., physicians, nurses, office staff, management).
- Establish and execute business plans for key accounts aligned to franchise strategy and resources; communicate plans and lead discussions with leadership.
- Assess treatment patterns and referral networks affiliated with key accounts.
- Collaborate compliantly with stakeholders (patient services, field access/reimbursement support, medical affairs, operations) to achieve account objectives.
- Use approved resources effectively to achieve territory and account objectives.
- Proactively communicate with Hematology Sales Director; share challenges, best practices, and field insights.
- Participate in internal workshops/insight readouts; share innovative engagement ideas.
- Operate with professional integrity and within established guidelines/policies.
Experience / Qualifications
- BA/BS degree.
- 4+ years biotech/pharma sales and account management experience.
- Hematology/Oncology and/or rare disease experience preferred (other specialty sales experience considered).
Skills / Abilities
- Proven sales success; ability to create/execute customer/account plans.
- Strong relationship-building, learning agility, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Integrity and understanding of pharma regulations.
- Must live in territory; travel up to 75% (including overnights) and meet credentialing requirements for customer interactions.
