Field Medical Core Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers in a territory (compliantly coordinating with Pfizer colleagues).
- Maintain expertise in relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide product/TA information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit/resource for Medical Information and customer insights; share viewpoints and provide allowed information to HCPs.
- Understand Medical Affairs priorities; contribute to medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with HQ Medical, Medical Information, and other Field Medical colleagues across channels (live/virtual, written, phone/virtual).
- Optimize patient centricity, incorporating health literacy and cultural awareness.

Field Medical Role Responsibilities
- Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and therapeutic topics.
- Identify and seek medical engagement from priority customer segments.
- Respond to direct unsolicited HCP medical requests via triage/compliant processes.
- Field inbound HCP queries.
- Partner on site identification for Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials (including under-represented populations).
- Support Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR).
- Cultivate TA/research expertise (e.g., congress data, disease-state literature); provide asset leadership.
- Understand and communicate study design/methodology/data interpretation.
- Lead locally; partner with Patient Advocacy Groups in coordination with Corporate Affairs and HQ Medical.
- Represent Medical Affairs leadership with associations; serve on cross-functional committees.
- Mentorship (onboarding, ad board, study lead mentor); participate in special projects.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a health science required.
- Experience: PharmD/PhD (5+ yrs), MBA/MSc (7+ yrs), or BA/BSc (8+ yrs).
- Subject matter expert; manage high project volume in remote environment; prioritize and use strong judgment.
- Matrixed team collaboration; lead change; agile to new opportunities; problem-solve/network.
- Adopt digital tools and record medical interactions; excellent oral/written communication.
- Travel 60–80% and operate a Pfizer company car; reasonable proximity to airline hub; occasional weekend work.

Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD/PhD or equivalent terminal doctoral degree.
- Hematology expertise; Field Medical experience.
- Familiarity with relevant SOPs/rules/regulations; leadership/teamwork/interpersonal skills.
