Field Medical Core Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within a territory, coordinating with Pfizer colleagues to achieve Medical objectives.
- Maintain expertise in relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide therapeutic area/product information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; provide information to HCPs as allowed and share customer viewpoints with Pfizer.
- Contribute to Medical content strategy development and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Ensure effective communication/collaboration among HQ Medical, Medical Information, and Field Medical colleagues.
- Deliver medical communications across multiple channels (live/virtual presentations, written, telephone/virtual).
- Optimize patient centricity using Health Literacy and cultural awareness.
Field Medical Role Responsibilities
- Deliver approved medical content in the designated therapeutic area.
- Seek medical engagement from priority customer segments.
- Respond to unsolicited direct HCP requests with truthful, accurate, scientifically supported information per Pfizer guidelines.
- Field inbound HCP queries via established triage.
- Partner with Global Medical Affairs, Oncology R&D, and GPD on potential clinical trial sites (including under-represented populations).
- Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process.
- Cultivate research/TA expertise; stay current with congress data and literature.
- Provide asset leadership; understand study design, analysis, and interpretation.
- Lead territory execution; communicate with Patient Advocacy Groups with Corporate Affairs/HQ Medical Affairs collaboration.
- Provide insights on patient organization structure/capabilities/needs; serve on cross-functional committees.
- Represent Medical Affairs leadership at associations/societies; demonstrate medical professionalism.
- Mentorship: onboarding partner, ad board and study lead mentor.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in a health science (required).
- Relevant experience: PharmD/PhD (5+ years), MBA/MSc (7+ years), BA/BSc (8+ years).
- Recognized subject matter expert.
- Ability to manage remote project volume; prioritize and demonstrate judgment in continuous improvement.
- Matrix/multidisciplinary collaboration; lead change in an evolving healthcare environment.
- Change agility; problem-solve and network; adopt digital tools and document interactions.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Travel 60β80% and operate a Pfizer company car; proximity to airline hub.
Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD/PhD or equivalent terminal degree.
- Hematology expertise/clinical experience.
- Knowledge of SOPs/Rules/Regulations for Pfizer/customer interactions.
- Prior Field Medical experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, self-starter accountability, urgency, interpersonal skills.

Compensation/Benefits (if part of job description body)
- Annual base salary range: $176,600β$294,300.
- Eligible for Global Performance Plan bonus target (20%) and long-term incentive program; comprehensive benefits including 401(k) and health coverage.
