Field Medical Director (Oncology) Responsibilities
- Plan and execute compliant Medical strategy and customer engagement within an assigned territory.
- Maintain deep knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide TA/product information to internal/external stakeholders.
- Serve as a conduit between Medical Information and customers; share customer insights with Pfizer.
- Contribute to Medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Deliver approved medical content via live/virtual presentations and written/telephone communication.
- Optimize patient centricity using health literacy and cultural awareness.
- Provide medically accurate, scientifically supported responses to unsolicited HCP requests; field inbound HCP queries via triage.
- Support Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR), clinical trial site identification with Global Medical Affairs, and study design/data interpretation discussions.
- Provide asset leadership; partner with patient advocacy groups; serve on cross-functional committees; represent Medical Affairs with professional societies.
- Mentorship (onboarding partner, ad board and study lead mentor); participate in special projects.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a health science.
- PharmD/PhD (5+ yrs) or MBA/MSc (7+ yrs) or BA/BSc (8+ yrs).
- Recognized subject matter expert; strong remote project/prioritization judgment; matrix/team collaboration; change agility.
- Excellent oral/written communication; ability to travel 60–80%.

Preferred
- PharmD/PhD or terminal doctoral degree.
- Hematology expertise; prior Field Medical experience.

Benefits / Compensation (explicit)
- Base salary: $176,600–$294,300; Global Performance Plan bonus target: 20%; long-term incentive eligibility; comprehensive benefits (401(k) with match, retirement contribution, paid time off, medical/dental/vision, caregiver/parental leave).
