Field Medical Core Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within a territory, coordinating with Pfizer colleagues to achieve Medical objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide therapeutic area/product information to internal/external stakeholders.
- Serve as conduit for Medical Information and customer insights; provide requested information to HCPs as allowed and share customer viewpoints with Pfizer.
- Understand Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities to contribute to Medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with HQ Medical colleagues and other Field Medical colleagues.
- Deliver communication across channels (live/virtual presentations, written, telephone/virtual conversations).
- Optimize patient centricity using Health Literacy and cultural awareness.

Field Medical Role Responsibilities
- Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and relevant topics.
- Identify and pursue medical engagement with priority customer segments.
- Respond to direct unsolicited medical requests from HCPs with truthful, accurate, scientifically supported information in compliance with Pfizer guidelines.
- Field inbound HCP queries via established triage process.
- Partner with Oncology R&D and GPD to identify potential sites for Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials, including under-represented patient populations.
- Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process.
- Cultivate TA/research expertise (e.g., congress data and disease literature).
- Provide asset leadership.
- Explain study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Demonstrate strong territory leadership.
- Communicate with local Patient Advocacy Groups with Corporate Affairs and HQ Medical Affairs.
- Deliver insights on patient organization structure/capabilities/patient needs.
- Serve on Medical/TA/asset cross-functional committees as appropriate.
- Represent Medical Affairs leadership with professional associations.
- Mentorship: onboarding partner, ad board and study lead mentor; participate in special projects.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a health science.
- Experience: PharmD/PhD (5+ years), MBA/MSc (7+ years), BA/BSc (8+ years).
- Recognized subject matter expert; manage remote project volume, prioritize, and exercise judgment in continuous improvement.
- Work effectively in matrix teams; lead through change; change agility.
- Problem-solve/network enterprise-wide; rapidly adopt digital technology and record medical interactions.
- Excellent oral/written communication; ability to operate a company car and travel 60–80%.

Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD/PhD (terminal) or equivalent (highly preferred); Hematology expertise.
- Familiarity with SOPs/rules/regulations for Pfizer/customer interactions; prior Field Medical experience.
- Leadership/teamwork, self-starter/accountability/urgency, clinical/technical skills, strong interpersonal/conflict management.

Work Location
- Remote – Field Based.

Travel/Weekend
- Travel 60–80%; proximity to airline hub city; occasional weekend work (e.g., advisory boards/congress).

Compensation/Benefits (explicitly stated)
- Base salary range: $176,600–$294,300.
- Bonus target: 20% of base; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive.
