Health Economics & Outcomes Research Associate Director, Pain

Role: Lead the development and execution of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) studies to support Vertex's products, reporting to the Director, HEOR Pain. Responsibilities include designing and overseeing complex HEOR evidence generation such as cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact models, observational studies, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, and patient-reported outcomes research; synthesizing insights from payers, KOLs, and experts; collaborating on publication strategy; and supporting Global Pricing and Market Access with value narratives. Requirements: PhD, MD, MPH, PharmD, or equivalent with 8+ years in HEOR or related fields; proven publication record; expertise in HEOR methodologies; strong communication skills; understanding of US healthcare, health technology assessment, and clinical development; compliance knowledge.
