Main Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end B2B US e-commerce commercial strategy, vision, priorities, and multi-year roadmap driving acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Act as general manager for US e-commerce; develop growth initiatives aligned to commercial goals and evolving customer needs with Digital and CX partners.
- Translate trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights into differentiated strategy; build business cases and present recommendations to VP/SVP/business unit leaders.
- Identify/evaluate new business models, market expansion opportunities, and channel strategies for leadership in digital B2B commerce.
- Develop and oversee strategies to deepen customer relationships and reduce churn (healthcare providers, institutional buyers, and other B2B segments).
- Identify friction points across the digital buying journey; partner with Digital and Marketing to improve customer lifetime value.
- Define/monitor KPIs for platform adoption, engagement, digital revenue contribution, and retention; hold the organization accountable for outcomes.
- Ensure e-commerce and rep-led channels are complementary for a seamless omnichannel experience.
- Maintain a pulse on emerging B2B e-commerce trends and translate insights into recommendations.
- Champion a test-and-learn culture; run structured pilots/experiments.
- Recommend technology/partnership/capability investments to unlock platform value.
- Co-own the platform roadmap with Digital; influence priorities/resources without direct engineering authority.
- Act as primary commercial interface to Digital; bridge business strategy and platform execution.
- Own UAT/commercial readiness and validate new capabilities against real customer scenarios before deployment.
- Lead/develop the e-commerce team; build cross-functional relationships (Commercial, Digital, Marketing, CX, Legal, Finance) and remove barriers.
- Represent function in senior forums; deliver executive communications, business reviews, and investment proposals; partner with Finance on annual plans and tracking frameworks.

About You (Qualifications & Skills)
- Demonstrated experience leading B2B e-commerce strategy/digital channel development with sales growth in healthcare/life sciences (medical devices, diagnostics, specialty distribution, regulated/relationship-intensive industries).
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 10+ years progressive experience in B2B e-commerce strategy/digital marketing/digital channels.
- Management consulting experience (strategy/commercial practice) strongly preferred (3–4 years).
- Track record in matrixed environments: influence without authority; build coalitions.
- Present/partner with senior executives as strategic thought partner.
- Strategic synthesis, B2B commercial acumen, digital commerce fluency, customer-centric mindset, analytical rigor, innovation orientation, team leadership, and strong communication.
