Role Summary

Head of HR, GCSO and BD for the Innovative Medicine sector, based in Raritan, NJ. Provide strategic HR partnership to the Global Commercial Strategy Organization and Business Development Organization, shaping business strategy and driving aligned outcomes. Lead talent strategy, culture, leadership coaching, and execution across the OneHR model to support the organization’s goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage insights to diagnose and design organizations aligned to strategic goals.
  • Design and deploy data-driven talent strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent.
  • Shape and steward culture and employee experiences to attract, inspire, and retain top talent.
  • Aaccelerate performance through leadership coaching and team effectiveness.
  • Partner across the OneHR model to deliver on talent and organizational strategies.
  • Business strategy: understand business needs, diagnose organizational health, and position the function to meet those needs; participate in workforce planning and communications; lead organizational design.
  • Talent strategy and management: identify talent needs, build succession plans, and measure progress via talent metrics; collaborate with Talent Acquisition on sourcing; manage talent pipelines across regions.
  • Culture and engagement: shape culture and engagement strategies using survey insights and predictive retention modeling; define key mindsets/behaviors.
  • Leadership coaching and effectiveness: build leadership capabilities, onboard new leaders, support team effectiveness programs, ensure engagement and performance.
  • Execution and pull-through: align corporate services initiatives with the business; manage interview processes for critical roles; coordinate year-end planning and budgeting guidance.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ professional experience, including managerial experience coaching and leading talent; minimum of 7 years of progressive HR or HR-related experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ people leadership experience preferred.
  • Location: Raritan, NJ with travel between Raritan and other local NJ/PA sites; periodic global travel may be required.
