Head of Gastro, Pipeline Commercialization Strategy (PCS)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development of a long-term strategic Gastro plan in partnership with Immunology PCS leadership; align approaches across PCS and shape an enterprise vision for long-term Gastro pipeline growth and market leadership.
- Apply a commercial lens to Gastro portfolio strategy: identify unmet needs, evaluate competitive dynamics, define target patient segments, forecast scenario value, and proactively define risks and opportunities from Phase 1β3.
- Provide strategic commercial perspectives for external business development (BD) to expand the Gastro pipeline.
- Build relationships with internal/external partners (including Gastro external experts) to strengthen the value proposition of Gastro pipeline assets.
- Lead cross-functional engagement with R&D, Regulatory, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Finance, and Affiliates (US and IMCO) to shape and align Gastro pipeline strategy.
- Ensure end-to-end stewardship of Gastro commercialization across Phase 1β3, enabling seamless transition from development to launch and affiliate handoff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- Pharma/biotech experience required.
- Track record of strategic leadership.
- 10+ years of experience with successful record in pharma marketing and/or medical affairs required.
- Strong understanding of drug development, lifecycle management, and commercialization.
- Collaborative, proactive, high planning/coordinating/project management capability; strong problem-solving.
- Strong strategic and financial acumen (P&L drivers; SG&A investment and top-line forecast development).
- Executive-ready communication skills for governance presentations.
- Integrity, work ethic, and commitment.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree.
- Affiliate marketing leadership experience.
- Experience in Immunology and/or Gastro.
