Role Summary
Head of Digital GBUs Agile & Scrum Excellence. Location: Cambridge MA, Morristown NJ. Permanent role with travel up to 20%. Lead Agile and Scrum COE for Digital GBUs and drive transformation for the US commercial foundations program.
Responsibilities
- The head of DGBU agile & scrum COE is a senior practicing leader. Beyond responsibilities as head of the agile & Scrum COE team, assigned to the US commercial foundations program, a multiyear initiative.
- Demonstrate excellence on the most critical program as a key success factor for the DGBU team and embody Sanofi culture.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong, agile pool of Scrum expertise with a community-focused CoE.
- Provide expertise coaching and career pathing; mentor Scrum Masters.
- Coach Agile within DGBU; collaborate with Sanofi Agile COE to foster continuous improvement and collaboration for high-quality product delivery.
- Allocate Scrum Masters to PLs via clear prioritization; manage resources based on impact with PL owners.
- Enhance Customer Satisfaction by working with Product Owner/Product Line Owner; run regular retrospectives and quarterly POD health reports with mitigation plans.
- Lead Agile transformation and maturity assessment; define trajectory and implement with Scrum COE in partnership with Product Owner, GTMC & stakeholders.
- Foster continuous improvement and apply Design Thinking to identify user needs and opportunities.
- Champion value-driven prioritization and optimize processes; drive standardization and automation where possible.
- Use data and analytics to generate insights and inform strategic initiatives; define KPIs to measure impact of Scrum activities and POD health; analyze trends to stay competitive.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience with 5+ years of people management in diverse markets.
- Solid background in agile and service excellence; strong leadership and communication skills.
- Technical literacy in data management and/or data analytics.
- Proven record of digital business strategy execution; strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels; proactive with a One Sanofi mindset.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; team-oriented with a positive demeanor.
