Head of Commercial Learning

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end learning strategy for the US commercial organization.
- Build a “Learning Organization” that translates brand strategy into field behaviors.
- Oversee creation of comprehensive learning pathways for Sales Representatives, Field Managers, and Market Access professionals.
- Develop learning content for new hires and continuous learning via e-learning, POA meetings, workshops, and other mediums.
- Set standards for modern pedagogy, including micro-learning, gamification, and simulation-based training.
- Oversee design and delivery of a Leadership Development Curriculum for field leaders.
- Manage a team of franchise-aligned trainers, ensuring standards of excellence and adult learning principles.
- Manage learning budgets, select/oversee agency partners, and coordinate with IT on LMS needs.
- Drive structured learning needs analysis and link identified gaps to learning interventions.

Required Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; 15+ years in Pharmaceutical Commercial roles, including 7–10 years in Learning & Development leadership.
- Deep understanding of how adults learn; proven track record building curriculum from the ground up.
- Experience defining learning roadmap, KPIs, and developing LMS and other learning technology platforms.
- Experience managing a sizable, diverse team (10+) of specialists and remote trainers.
- Ability to coach “Coaches” by developing trainers’ delivery and facilitation skills.
- Strong cross-functional ability to influence Brand Marketing, Sales leadership, and HR.
- Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to rapidly pivot training programs in response to new clinical data or competitive launches.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
- Experience with cutting-edge educational technologies and platforms.
