Responsibilities:
- Serve as an objective, proactive voice of customers; translate business priorities into insight-driven decision support for Global Oncology leadership.
- Own the global strategic market research vision across Oncology pipeline, launch, and lifecycle stages; ensure insights are forward-looking and aligned to portfolio/brand priorities.
- Lead primary market research with a globally consistent, locally relevant approach (e.g., segmentation, concept/message testing, demand/adoption research, journey mapping, tracking) across HCPs, patients, and caregivers.
- Proactively frame critical business questions; design research that challenges assumptions and surfaces risks/tradeoffs.
- Establish market research best practices (methodological rigor, study design standards, vendor briefs, analytical quality, and executive storytelling).
- Lead across complex stakeholder groups to build alignment and manage conflicting priorities.
- Partner with Oncology I&A peers as an enterprise connector using forecasting/analytics/competitive intelligence to inform decisions.
Advanced Analytics:
- Transform insights and analytics by anticipating industry/competitive signals; modernize data approaches (including GenAI); pilot/scale innovative analytics with enterprise leaders and Global Capabilities Centers.
- Lead global analytics for BD, NPP, and early launch assets using claims/EMR/etc. to support opportunity assessment, patient identification for trials, forecasting, and strategic choices.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS required; Masterβs in Computer Science, Business, or related preferred.
- 10+ years in pharma/biotech Insights & Analytics with strategic market research expertise (launch brands preferred); global experience a plus.
- 5+ years in bio/pharma or related with advanced analytics (predictive analytics, machine learning, patient-level data triggers, marketing mix) and GenAI.
Required Skills:
- Leadership in matrix environments; influence, consensus building, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Translate strategy into action; communicate complex issues clearly; manage plans to mitigate risks.
- Lead end-to-end primary research (qualitative/quantitative), including study design, vendor oversight, budgeting, and executive insight delivery.
- Data-driven mindset; proficiency with pharmaceutical data sources (claims, EMR) and analytics technologies.
