Role: Graphic Designer (Global Scientific Publications)
Responsibilities:
- Create and format complex scientific PowerPoint presentations (slides, icons, graphics, data tables/figures, custom builds, infographics, graphical abstracts, figures, and templates).
- Create, layout, and format scientific posters in Adobe InDesign (complex/custom scientific icons and graphics, templates).
- Develop timely, accurate assets; meet deadlines or notify of delays/special circumstances.
- Prioritize and manage balanced project workload; triage email and work requests.
- Stay self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented; multitask and deliver high-quality work.
- Collaborate with medical writing team to ensure medical accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
- Attend department meetings; communicate consistently and contribute insights.
- Anticipate project needs and proactively offer solutions.
Qualifications / Skills:
- BA in design or communications preferred; 3β5+ years related graphic design experience; pharmaceutical/healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Working knowledge of editorial design, information graphics/data visualization, and typography.
- Design thinking for scientific/medical audiences; strong collaboration, communication (written/presentation/oral), problem-solving, and project management; ability to manage multiple deadlines.
