Government Accounts Director

Role: Lead government payer strategy and engagement for ophthalmic products, supporting access, reimbursement, and policy compliance. Responsibilities: develop and execute strategies across public-sector channels, engage with MACs, VA/DoD, Medicaid, and other payers to optimize coverage and launch-readiness; monitor policy and reimbursement trends; collaborate cross-functionally to align evidence and messaging; advise on account prioritization and patient access; represent the company in external stakeholder interactions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 12+ years in biopharma, market access, or reimbursement roles with deep knowledge of Medicare Part B, MAC processes, VA/DoD, Medicaid, coding, and coverage; experience in ophthalmology or retina preferred; proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate in fast-paced environments.
