Key Responsibilities:
- Lead payer strategic planning to optimize value and access for early-stage T1D portfolio assets.
- Develop/refine Global Market Access strategies and core Global P&R deliverables within cross-functional, cross-regional commercialization.
- Own Global Payer Plans integrating value evidence generation, strategic pricing, value communications, and stakeholder engagement to support reimbursement and pricing.
- Ensure payer position is represented to internal stakeholders and inform commercialization/development decisions.
- Support strategies with deep functional knowledge, market research, environmental data, and product/market analogs.
- Inform financial forecasts.
- Partner with HEOR and Global Marketing to optimize global value propositions and integrated evidence plans.
- Lead capability building and thought leadership for readiness in the evolving global payer environment.
- Monitor industry trends, competition, product acceptance, and new releases; adjust Market Access plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with HEOR, International P&R, Corporate Affairs, US Managed Markets, countries, Marketing, and Clinical Development.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years biotech/pharma industry and/or payer experience.
- Deep knowledge of US and ex-US healthcare systems (global/specialty disease experience a plus).
- Strategic thinker with proven ability to make sound pricing/market access recommendations.
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills and command of pricing/reimbursement and HEOR principles.
- Experience in commercialization and drug development; CGT experience preferred.
- Proven success in highly cross-functional matrix teams.
- Excellent written/oral communication and relationship-building across geographies.
- BA/BS in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
