Director, Global Marketing, General Medicine – Cardiometabolic (CM)

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement commercial asset initiative strategies to maximize growth for priority brands.
- Coordinate key cardiometabolic efforts; integrate global-to-local strategies for successful CM transitions.
- Integrate CDx efforts; drive new market-building initiatives.
- Clarify commercial positioning, drive prioritization, and advance brand launch readiness while ensuring cross-market alignment.
- Lead cross-matrix functions (without direct authority) to meet enterprise goals/timelines.
- Contribute to Integrated Brand Team (IBT) and Brand Working Group; support insight generation, strategy development, and brand planning.
- Lead peri-launch and launched marketing strategy development; challenge stakeholders to address asset opportunities/issues.
- Review competitor data; support milestones to accelerate launch readiness.
- Develop “gold standard” commercial strategy with Medical Affairs and Commercial Insights.
- Shape marketing deliverables (e.g., brand planning, launch readiness, competitive insights, Target Product Profiles, forecasts).
- Partner with markets on launch tactics; commission/manage market research (cDNA) and monitor competitive landscape.
- Partner with Forecasting/Finance for LRS projections; create aligned internal/external narratives.
- Leverage lead markets/ROW via central repository; coordinate best-practice sharing.
- Support alliance management/external relations when applicable; update brand plans/LRS with priority country GMs.

Qualifications:
- Doctorate + 5 years commercial experience OR Master’s + 7 years OR Bachelor’s + 9 years.
Preferred:
- PhD/PharmD; 5+ years pharma cardiometabolic experience; success in increasing-scope commercial roles; peri-launch CV asset experience; global commercial/strategic regional experience; strong commercialization planning; understanding of global access/pricing/reimbursement (US & ex-US).
