Role Summary
The Global Finance Category Lead for Pain, Sleep & Lifestyle is a strategic finance leader responsible for driving financial performance, planning, and decision support across a portfolio of wellness-focused brands and products. This role partners closely with commercial, supply chain, R&D, and cluster finance teams to ensure optimal resource allocation, profitability, and strategic growth across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Category Financial Leadership: Own the financial strategy and performance management for the Pain, Sleep & Lifestyle category globally.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovation, pricing, portfolio optimization, and go-to-market strategies.
- Planning & Forecasting: Lead long-range planning for the category.
- Performance Analysis: Deliver insights on revenue, margin, and cost drivers; identify risks and opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
- Investment Support: Evaluate business cases for new product launches, marketing investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and global reporting standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present financial results and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and category teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements, digital finance tools adoption, and analytics capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 8β10 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in consumer health, FMCG, or wellness sectors.
- Experience in global category management or regional finance leadership roles.
Skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead in a matrixed, global environment.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of consumer health trends.
