Position Summary:
- Lead the development and implementation of the global strategy for a new pipeline asset in GI and Lung cancers and potential future indications.
- Based in Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ; reports to the Global Franchise Head, Oncology.
Main Responsibilities:
- Pipeline and Life Cycle Management: Collaborate cross-functionally to lead life cycle strategy; ensure launch readiness for GI/Lung indications and combinations; represent global commercial perspective in LCM and R&D clinical development programs; identify development opportunities, conduct commercial assessments, and support business cases.
- Strategy and Promotional Platform: Develop ambition and overall value proposition (short/mid/long term) with required resources; identify and communicate market drivers/barriers and best practices; develop the brand plan and strategy aligned across key markets.
- Commercial Strategy Implementation: Execute strategy across countries; set ambitious targets and exceed in-market/financial expectations with country teams; build internal/external awareness; contribute to global KOL strategy; engage external stakeholders; contribute to strategic presence in global oncology congresses.
- Build and Develop Best-in-Class Talents: Attract/recruit, motivate, delegate, celebrate diversity, manage performance; encourage team success and visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in life sciences/marketing/business (MBA/advanced degree preferred).
- 12β15+ years in global/local commercial leadership (sales, marketing, market access).
- Strong oncology expertise (solid tumor, GI, or Lung), US experience, and prior oncology launches.
- Strong strategic thinking, collaboration, conceptual/innovation skills; cross-functional experience (Marketing, Sales, R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Research, Finance, Forecasting, etc.).
- Experience leading without authority in a matrix; strong project management; travel up to 40%.
