Main Responsibilities
- Provide strategic input to the global brand plan and develop an aligned medical affairs plan.
- Co-develop brand strategic imperatives for Dupixent in atopic dermatitis (AD).
- Develop and implement an advocacy plan with field experts, academics, payers, providers, professionals, and/or patient associations.
- Ensure a patient-centric approach to medical strategy for product/device development and potential services.
- Serve as scientific expert across the franchise to guide medical strategy, evidence generation, and external engagement.
- Lead global and guide country AD strategy by establishing scientific leadership (IL4/IL13, type 2 inflammation narrative, disease modification, pediatric population).
- Develop advocacy programs (advisory boards, roundtables at major congresses) and ensure scientific/ethical integrity of sponsored/supported research and relationships.
- Implement digital engagement (virtual advisory boards, webinars, interactive online platforms).
- Support post-marketing evidence portfolio (observational studies, registries, RWE) demonstrating safety, efficacy, and value.
- Design and execute the Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP) aligned to brand objectives and the TPP.
- Lead post-approval studies with quality oversight; co-develop publication plans; foster academic collaborations; drive data-driven decisions using clinical insights, competitive intelligence, and RWE.
- Collaborate across clinical development, commercial, regulatory, and field medical teams; manage alliance with Regeneron; participate in Product Teams; support lifecycle management and unified global launch strategy.
- Oversee medical budget; lead and mentor medical directors; implement development programs and feedback; foster inclusive, innovative culture.
Qualifications
- MD/PhD/PharmD or advanced degree in life/pharmaceutical sciences; 8+ years relevant medical affairs experience (preferably dermatology).
- Proven scientific research, publication planning, and medical communications (dermatology preferred).
- Immunodermatology/inflammatory skin disease experience highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of scientific research, clinical development, and regulatory requirements; ability to communicate interventional/observational studies.
- Analytical skills for emerging social/policy/access trends; experience developing medical strategies and supporting brand objectives/patient outcomes.
- Ability to engage external thought leaders and build long-term relationships; strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven people leadership/mentoring; manage resources and multiple projects; self-directed, structured working style.
