Glaucoma Reimbursement Liaison

Role: Serve as Reimbursement Liaison for Glaukos, focusing on facilitating patient access to ophthalmic technologies through reimbursement policy expertise and provider support. Responsibilities: educate healthcare providers on benefit verification, prior authorization, billing, coding, and navigating reimbursement barriers; collaborate with patient support teams; monitor payer trends; manage communication on policy updates; ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (MBA or MPH preferred); minimum 8 years in specialty pharma or surgical devices, with at least 3 years in reimbursement or healthcare policy; experience with medical devices, injectables, CPT/J-codes, and payer landscapes such as Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans. Preferred: eyecare background, sales or practice management experience. HighValue: ophthalmology, specialty pharmaceuticals, medical devices, reimbursement and prior authorization processes, payer negotiations, buy & bill acquisition, and patient support programs. WorkSetup: travel required (~50%) across territory, including overnight; field-based role.
