Glaucoma Reimbursement Liaison

Role: Reimbursement Liaison specializing in ophthalmology (glaucoma) to ensure patient access to Glaukos’ medical devices. Responsibilities: educate HCPs and office staff on benefit verification, coding, prior authorization, appeals, copay assistance, and navigating payer policies; collaborate with Patient Support to address access barriers; monitor reimbursement trends and update stakeholders; maintain expertise in regional/national payer landscapes; ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (MBA or MPH preferred); 8+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals or surgical devices, with at least 3 years direct reimbursement/healthcare policy experience; ophthalmic or medical device experience, including CPT/J-code proficiency; background in Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans; strong communication, project management, and leadership skills; ability to travel (~50%).
