What You Will Achieve
- Responsible for launching new gastroenterology products, determining strategies to manage business relationships, understanding formulary access, and engaging in product promotion within assigned accounts.
- Drive sales efforts and relationship development with assigned customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

How You Will Achieve It
- Identify and implement efficient virtual/in-person engagement strategies; develop and execute business/territory call plans and adapt based on opportunities and insights.
- Build rapport and relationships across virtual and face-to-face environments; manage call objectives with clear next steps/documentation and KPI alignment; use digital tools (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom, Microsoft Office) and adapt to new tools; use analytics for insights and next-best actions.
- Provide compliant, targeted messaging using approved materials to drive product demand and positive business outcomes; contribute insights for development of new/approved messaging and resources.
- Use product and disease-state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded/branded value propositions for relevant patient populations.
- Plan customer engagements with HCPs and office staff in multiple formats (virtual and in-person).
- Deploy approved Pfizer resources to support provider/patient needs (e.g., samples, vouchers, co-pay resources, patient education); plan call environments based on personal and customer schedules; collaborate with Pfizer Connect and other customer-facing colleagues.
- Support patients’ access by providing information on reimbursement, Patient Assistant Program (PAP), Pfizer hub programs, and co-pay resources.
- Present terms of sale/contract terms with approved language; answer on-label questions; introduce customers to Pfizer on-demand portal (Galaxy).
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Field Medical, Reimbursement, Key Account Management); use triaging protocols/digital apps to connect with SMEs.
- Use calendaring tools and leadership/personal insights; bring customer survey insights to leadership.

Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical biotech or medical marketing/promotional/sales experience with demonstrated leadership in specialized market experience using third-party reimbursement/service center.
- Demonstrated marketing/promotional/sales success; strong territory management; outstanding communications; teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Live within 50 miles of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies hiring.

Nice-to-Haves
- 3–5 years specialty marketing/promotional/sales experience; strong disease-state/therapeutic area/product knowledge.
- Deep knowledge of applicable customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Strategic account marketing/promotional/sales/management; strong technical and relationship-building skills.
- Track record assessing account needs and bringing relevant resources; strong business acumen, problem-solving, strategic thinking, data analytics, project management, planning/prioritization.
- Ability to engage/influence customers; quickly learn new ways of working; work effectively in a matrix environment.
- Experience with key thought leaders/high-influence customers (preferred).
- Strong organizational/analytical skills; ability to analyze sales data/call reporting tools and adapt to new technology.
- Agile/adaptable to workplace changes; exceptional time management and planning/organizing.

Non-standard Work Schedule, Travel/Environment
- Ability to travel to all accounts/office locations within the territory; may require overnight stays depending on territory/business need.

- Base salary range: $114,500–$222,100. Quarterly Sales Incentive bonus.
