Position Summary
- Flex MSL provides on-demand and proactive field medical support, including short-term KOL coverage, scientific exchange, and support for medical projects to advance understanding of rare kidney diseases.

Responsibilities
- Conduct fair-balanced, on-label scientific discussions; respond to unsolicited requests; escalate complex inquiries to Medical Information.
- Deliver compliant medical presentations and 1:1/small-group education for priority topics (disease state, MOA, safety/REMS).
- Provide short-term KOL/institution/account coverage and maintain territory relationships.
- Support regional/national congresses with scientific presence and logistics.
- Document HCP insights, medical trends, and unmet needs; route high-value insights to Medical Strategy.
- Record interactions in CRM (e.g., Veeva) within 48 hours.

Education/Experience Requirements
- Advanced degree strongly preferred (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, NP) or equivalent education/experience.
- 2+ years MSL experience in pharma/biotech (clinical/academic experience considered).
- Strongly preferred: nephrology or rare disease experience (particularly IgAN or FSGS).
- Plus: experience supporting new product launches.

Skills/Requirements
- Peer-to-peer scientific acumen; strong communication/presentation; ability to synthesize complex info compliantly.
- Knowledge of FDA guidelines and PhRMA code; proficiency with CRM (e.g., Veeva) and virtual tools.
- Field-based: must live in territory; travel up to 60–80%.

Benefits/Compensation
- Benefits include premium health, wellness/support programs, life/disability, retirement with match, and generous paid time off.
- Target base pay: $162,000–$211,000 (plus incentives).
