Major Responsibilities:
- Specialty Distributor & Specialty Pharmacy Order Fulfillment: Review product orders vs. historical customer purchase trends, customer inventory DOH levels, and internal product availability. Coordinate with Customer Service, Trade, Warehousing, and Transportation to support shipment and delivery; reach out to stakeholders, build consensus, and execute under tight timelines.
- Administration of Specialty Distribution Service Agreements (SDSA): Calculate wholesaler performance including purchase stability, inventory DOH, order fulfillment rates to downstream pharmacies, and timely/accurate EDI product movement data submissions. Compute performance weekly and present to wholesalers monthly.
- Commercial Insights: Provide supply channel analytics for U.S. brands and deliver weekly “to-market” sales performance insights to Commercial Forecasting. Proactively originate and execute analyses; adapt to changing priorities and make timely data-driven recommendations.
- Perform quality control reviews to ensure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or general business (CPA or CMA a plus). Essential knowledge includes financial problem solving/analysis, translating data into actionable recommendations, data trending, logistics, and wholesale/retail trade.
- Background: 7–10 years overall experience (preferably pharmaceutical); 6–8 years in commercial finance, cost accounting, auditing, financial reporting, or FP&A.
- Required/Preferred Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel; SAP/BPC/BIP; forecast modeling/scenario planning; data presentation; PowerPoint experience (preferred).
