Core Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision making.
- Oversee general ledger and month-end close activities to ensure accuracy, predictability, and compliance with financial policies/control framework.
- Provide finance reporting aligned with business/financial objectives.
- Develop reporting, monitor performance, and support contingency plans with clear commentary.
- Partner with internal/external audit teams to complete audit cycles and implement recommendations by due dates.
- Enhance internal controls; ensure results are recorded in compliance with SOX and GAAP.
- Proactively lead planning processes [Plan, UPD, LBE, LRP], integrating sales forecast, pricing, and investment resourcing; meet Division/Global/Corporate deadlines.
- Champion and measure cost savings and resource optimization programs.
- Coordinate corporate planning timelines, requirements, targets, financial presentations, and results.
- Ensure executive-level planning/reporting deliverables are accurate, clear, and concise.
- Serve as strategic partner to optimize decision making, meet financial commitments, deploy resources appropriately, and prepare executive-ready deliverables.
- Support finance process/system improvements; foster continuous improvement.
- Provide decision support/special project analyses for ad hoc business presentations.
- Lead and develop a team of 3 finance professionals (set/align goals, motivate, empower).

Qualifications
Required
- 12+ years progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience leading and motivating a team to deliver results.
- Ability to solve business problems using issue identification and data collection/analysis.
- Experience supporting senior operating management.
- Experience working independently and cross-functionally across multiple divisions.

Preferred
- MBA in Accounting/Finance and/or CPA.
- US Commercial experience and knowledge of the financial planning process.
- Knowledge of automated accounting systems such as SAP, BPC, and desktop productivity tools.
