Position Summary
As the Field Vice President for Anti-Infectives, East, you will build and lead the field force for a novel oral carbapenem across your region.

Role Responsibilities (key activities)
- Achieve national sales, launch, and business performance objectives.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and lead Regional Sales Directors; drive accountability and launch urgency.
- Provide strategic leadership and in-field coaching to maximize regional performance and customer impact.
- Translate national brand strategy into actionable field execution plans across regions and customer segments.
- Shape go-to-market strategies integrating field execution with customer and market dynamics (access, pull-through, commercial impact).
- Optimize regional priorities and national strategies using external insights, enterprise perspective, and data-driven decisions.
- Lead national launch execution across awareness, demand generation, access, utilization, and sales.
- Monitor performance using data/customer insights and rapidly adjust execution plans.
- Lead business planning, resource allocation, performance measurement, and KPI management.
- Manage field investments/resources to maximize ROI and enterprise value.
- Ensure excellence in strategic account engagement (access wins, formulary adoption, protocol inclusion, utilization).
- Design and deliver large-scale customer/account strategies across complex health systems.
- Partner cross-functionally (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Training, Commercial Ops, Compliance, Legal, Analytics).
- Represent the voice of the field; champion innovation; uphold ethics, compliance, and patient focus.
- Lead transformative change using AI, data, and digital tools.

Qualifications
Basic (Required)
- Bachelorโ€™s Degree.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare commercial experience.
- Experience in Anti-Infectives and/or Hospital Specialty and/or Urology.
- Second-line or national field leadership experience.
- Product launch leadership with accountability for results.
- Account management leadership across complex customer types (e.g., specialty, hospital, IDN, academic medical center/large group practice).
- Valid driverโ€™s license; safe driving record.
- Domestic travel including overnight.

Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Deep US healthcare market knowledge (provider/payer behavior, access, trends).
- Experience across additional commercial functions (e.g., market access, operations, marketing).
- Strong financial/commercial acumen; executive presence.
- Experience building/scaling teams during launch readiness and commercialization.
